The NextGen Banker’s Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance is an advanced training program designed to meet the needs of the ever-evolving banking and financial sector. Developed by Bandhan-Konnagar, this unique one-year residential course, affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal, aims to produce competent and skilled professionals for the industry.
The curriculum is carefully structured to cover various essential aspects of banking, including regulatory requirements, laws, processes, products, and services. The program offers ten months of rigorous classroom training followed by a two-month internship with reputed banks, providing students with practical exposure to real-world scenarios.
To ensure that candidates can fully focus on their studies, a monthly stipend is provided during the duration of the course. This financial support makes the program accessible to deserving candidates from diverse backgrounds.
Eligibility criteria for the program require applicants to be Indian Nationals between the ages of 21 and 27 years, with a First Class in at least two of their final three examinations (Secondary, Higher Secondary, Graduation). The selection process, which includes course counseling, aptitude tests, and personal interviews, takes place in different locations across the country.
The course fee for the program is Rs. 3,50,000, inclusive of food and lodging during the classroom training period. After selection, students are required to deposit Rs. 4,13,000. For those who need financial assistance, a loan facility is available, with a down payment of Rs. 1,00,000 to be deposited at the time of registration, and the remaining amount provided as "Yuva Loan."
