Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Limited (USFBL), in collaboration with the Institute of Professional Banking (IPB), offers a comprehensive Probationary Officer (PO) Program designed to prepare graduates and postgraduates for a successful banking career. The program culminates in a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Financial Services (PGDBFS) from Mangalayatan University and provides participants with practical experience and potential employment opportunities within USFBL.
Program Structure:
Classroom Training: 4 months of residential training at Baddi University, focusing on various aspects of retail branch banking, including branch operations, banking products, sales, credit, and customer service.
Internship: 2 months of practical experience at a USFBL branch, with a monthly stipend of ₹10,000.
On-the-Job Training (OJT): 6 months of hands-on training, accompanied by weekend online classes emphasizing sales and operations, with a monthly stipend of ₹16,000.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age between 21 and 27 years.
Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 65% aggregate marks.
Selection Process:
Online Application: Submit the application form through the IPB website.
Aptitude Test: Assessment covering verbal ability, logical reasoning, numerical ability, and current affairs.
Group Discussion & Personal Interview: Candidates who pass the aptitude test will participate in group discussions and personal interviews.
Program Fees:
Total course fee: ₹2.25 lakhs + 18% GST.
Eligible candidates can avail of a 100% collateral-free education loan offered by USFBL upon clearing the screening process.
Certification:
Upon successful completion, participants receive a UGC-approved PGDBFS from Mangalayatan University.

Graduates of the program may be considered for roles such as Credit Manager, Relationship Officer, Project Lead, Assistant Branch Manager, and Branch Operations Manager within USFBL, with a starting salary of approximately ₹4.25 lakhs per annum.
